The surface of both covers is decorated with enamel over filigree pattern comprised of multi-petalled rosettes, rimmed with curved ornamental frame. Free space is filled with filigree stems with small leaves and flowers. A girdle of filigree rings with turquoise enamel ornates both lids’ edges. Rectangular silver button is in the snap shutter; thumb ramp is on the top lid. Bracket-holders are fixed to the inner side of both lids. Coat of arms is carved beneath the Count's crown on one of the covers’ inner side. Enamels colour scheme is based on the combination of blue, blue, turquoise, white and green shades.
