The case, decorated with grooving in the form of divergent rays, is supplemented with onlay details fixed on the hinged lid. The onlays are made of gold and silver, partially enamelled with relief details: signatures and monogram, round coin, images of a black cat, double-headed eagle beneath the crown with a sceptre and power, identification mark in the form of a cross. The thumb ramp is ornated with an oval sapphire-cabochon in smooth bezel setting.
