Rectangular gold mounted wooden box with rounded corners, hinged lid set with rectangular micromosaic plaque depicting a seated cat with its kitten playing with brightly coloured ball, watched by a spaniel lying in front of an open fire; plain polished gold mounts with reeded pilaster corners, slightly raised scroll thumb ramp, the lid internal side is engraved with the presentation inscription "fgh to CB".
