    Silver rectangular cigarette case, with hinged lid. A plaque with a pastoral scene, "The reluctant engagement” depicting two young cowherds and a gentleman kneeling and trying to embrace one of them, framed by gold floral ornament with rocailles on purple enamel background is on the lid. The sides are decorated with relief floral ornament in the form of roses. The base is decorated with the plaque covered with purple translucent enamel over guilloche background with the pattern in the form of circles diverging from the center.
