Rectangular snuffbox, the lid, four sides and covered with panels of blood-orange agate embossed with diagonal pattern of trailing foliage, the base with reeded gold mounts, the lid engraved with wavy pattern, slightly raised incorporated thumb ramp; hinged burgundy leather fitted case. Frame is of later period (1819-1838).
