Gold single-draw (single-section) telescope with an eyepiece. It is decorated with three oval medallions featuring figures in classical attire executed in the grisaille technique. The space between the medallions is filled with concentric wavy bands of blue and white enamel. The upper and lower rims of the tube are accented by a band of white-and-green enamel geometric ornament. A similar ornament, but in blue-and-white enamel, adorns the surface around the eyepiece.
