A silver model of a Spanish galleon-type ship, set upon rectangular molded base resting on four feet. The model is meticulously detailed with a keel, three masts flying streaming flags, and four unfurled square and lateen sails. The upswept bow, inscribed HANSABUND along the side, terminates in a bowsprit with a raised sail. The rectangular base features a textured wave-effect surface and is decorated with rectangular inserts of foliate ornament, medallions with symbols of commerce and industry, and the engraved inscription: "DIRECTORIUM UND GESCHAFTSFUHRUNG // DES HANSABUNDES FUR HANDEL, GEWERBE // UND INDUSTRIE 12 NOVEMBER 1913". The supporting feet are fashioned as dolphins. The entire model is mounted on a rectangular molded wooden plinth.
