Emperor Nicholas I bust is mounted on rectangular smooth base, revetted with malachite, with four gilded bronze legs. Gilded bronze flower pots-shaped inkwells with detachable lids and ornately shaped grips are fixed on the bust sides. They are decorated with grooves, flower garlands and floral curls. The feet are decorated with prominent floral curls. Lodgment for a pen is on the base.
The bust of Emperor Nicholas I made of patinated
bronze set on square plinth, dates back to Christian Daniel Rauch (1777-1857).
