Round flat serving platter with smooth cavetto and wide rim with profiled edge, partly gilded and made in the Russian-Byzantine style. The rim is decorated with stylized geometric pattern with sixteen round onlay medallions over its background. Twelve medallions are ornated by six-pointed stars. Date and month are inscribed in the ornamental ligatured script ("AWOB" (1872); "МЦъ МРАТ" (March) on other four medallions, the Russian house Ducal coat of arms and the coat of arms of the Württemberg Kingdom (divided oval shield with three staghorns on one side and three leopard lions on the other). The platter cavetto with circumferential Cyrillic inscription is adorned with the monogram of Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna - the second daughter of Emperor Nicholas I, who married Karl of Württemberg. The monogram is below the Imperial Crown.
