Flat wooden paper cutter, with roundish end and roundy flat handle that is framed with narrow silver rim the form of stylized Lictor's rods with intertwined gold ribbons. Silver ruble of 1754 with the image of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna is mounted into the paper-cutter handle. Carved inscription in Cyrillic is on the stripe covering the paper cutter handle.
This engraved inscription gives a possibility to presume that the paper cutter belonged to Ioan Konstantinovich Romanov (1886-1920) - the son of Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich and Grand Duchess Elizabeth Mavrikievna.
