Vase in the form of two openwork rims with crystal inserts, with Putti figurine in the Historism style. Stylized waves-shaped round rims with two rocaille-shaped feet. Putti figurine fixed on the shells and examining the flute "combines"" the rimmed vases in the united composition.
The presented vase is a sample that was produced by the Company during the first decade of its activity. Very few works of that period have survived up to the present day. A sample of a vase, placed in the Price List of K. Faberge produced in 1899 with No.32 and price of 335 rubles, was described as "A vase for sweets , jam, etc. with the chased artwork figure".(ref. K. Faberge. The Court Supplier. Gold, diamond and silver products. M., 1899. p.39, 32).
