    Rectangular desktop pad, consisting of a top hinged silver lid that is fixed on a black stone stand-pedestal with the authentic paper block with gilt edging and side loop. Silver case with the pencil is inserted in it. The lid top surface is decorated with the insert with painted reproduction of a fragment of Elisabeth Boehm card "Song who shall understand, that will understand the words ...". The fragment depicts a seated boy guslar. The insert is framed by the stylized foliate-geometric patterns executed in the technique of engraving, supplemented by coloured gems - red and blue cabochons. A monogram "ИБ" and the date "27.III.1918" are on the lid  bottom. The desktop pad is decorated in the Neo-Russian style.
