Set comprised of a sugar bowl and sugar tongs for lump sugar, made in the Chinese – Japanese style. The sugar bowl of octahedral shape, on four feet, with two geometric handles and a removable lid. The feet are in the form of birds' paws on round spheres. The sugar bowl body and lid are decorated with stylised ornamental pattern imitating craquelures on lacquered objects, with fancy design inside. The grip of the lid is made in the form of a round baluster with grooves. The handles are plain, free from decor. The tongs are decorated with stylised craquelure pattern.
