Boat-shaped ladle with low sides and with peluste grip, on four spherical feet divided by cannelure ornament. The sides are decorated with three ornamental stones cabochons, framed by engraved floral patters comprised of abundant leaves, stems and buds. The crown is adorned with indentation, with the inscription: "TO CAVALRY CAPTAIN OF LIFE GUARD CUIRASSIER HIS MAJESTY'S REGIMENT ALEXANDER NIKOLAEVICH KOLENKIN PETERHOF 1907". The indentation also decorates the ladle edges and the bent grip. The ladle bottom is ornated with round medallion framed by laurel, depicting a two-headed eagle with a sceptre and an orb.
