On the mount external surface: maker’s mark - О.КУРЛЮКОВЪ; mark of the Moscow District Assay Office (1908-1917); facing right female head in kokoshnik, enclosed in circle; silver fineness "84". On the lid inner surface: maker’s mark - О.К.
Carafe made of colourless transparent crystal with silver, interior-gilded rim mount, pouring spout, and a hinged lid with a thumbpiece. The conical body is decorated at the bottom with "fan" and various types of diamond cutting, including "Russian rock" (Russian pattern), and with "finger" cuts at the top; the star-cut base features "star" motif. The smooth, collar-like mount is accented at the bottom with openwork stems, leaves, and scrolls. The thumbpiece of the smooth, helmet-shaped lid is crafted in the form of a curved leaf with three berries.
