Goblet is made of colorless translucent glass with cone-shaped bowl with, on a stem in the form of pyramid of one smooth and two faceted "apples", on round base. The surface of the bowl is decorated with two-part composition. On one side is facing right profile portrait of Empress Catherine II under a canopy supported on both sides by cupids. The image is placed in cartouche formed of C-shaped scrolls, decorated on the sides with daisies in the vases, and surrounded by trophy of war. On the other side – the images of Empress Catherine II monogram “EA” under the crown and the double-headed eagle under three crowns, with a scepter and orb, placed in twin oval medallions. The medallions are in ornately shaped cartouche surmounted by a rose flower and decorated with "pits" and a treillage. The images are made in the technique of shallow matte engraving. Matte band with "pits" and X-shaped elements emphasizes the edge for the lips (the crown). The body lower part is decorated with polished facets in the form of "pits" and pyramid; there are small air bubbles in the flash.
