Oval-shaped multi-layered glass pitcher featuring bell-shaped expanding rim, loop handle, and resting on flat base. Front side of the body is decorated with relief narrative composition inspired by mythological illustrations by Walter Crane for the volume “The Echoes of Hellas”, depicting Cassandra with a kneeling female companion by the walls of Troy. Reverse side features frieze with animal figures, rosettes, and flowers. Neck and lower part of the body are adorned with geometric bands, running wave ornament, and floral rosettes.
