The vase features an elongated "solifleur" shape that smoothly tapers upward into a narrow, slightly flared neck, resting on a stable circular footed base. The surface of the body is decorated with an image of blooming coquelicots (wild poppies). The buds and open petals are colored in a warm orange-yellow hue, while the slender carved leaves and stems are executed in herbaceous green and golden tones.
