Mark on the base: "E. Gallé à Nancy" (ornamental inscription in black paint); also features an attached oval paper label with printed text: "FAÏENCES & VERRERIES D'ART EMILE GALLÉ NANCY-PARIS", with a handwritten inscription in black paint in the center: "No 21385"
The vase features a rounded body with wide scalloped rim that simulates fabric folds or flower petals. The rim is lavishly decorated with gilding. The body depicts a bouquet of wildflowers, dominated by blue cornflowers and purplish-pink flowers (asters), complemented by slender ears of grain and green leaves.
