The vase is crafted from thick-walled multi-layered glass and features a rounded, nearly spherical shape. The central part is decorated with a relief image of a sphinx – a mythical creature with the body of a lion and a human head. The reverse side features stylized pyramids or mountains. The vase rests on an elegant gilded metal stand with four feet designed as floral patterns.
