The multi-colored glass vase features a baluster-shaped body resting on a circular base. It is enclosed within a gilded bronze mount with a shaped rim. It is decorated with a relief design of two snakes coiling spirally around the body. The surface of the stem is textured to imitate a hammered (martelé) finish.
