    An octagonal rock crystal scent bottle set on a square stepped base, featuring silver-gilt (silver, gilded interior) mounts on the neck with a hinged lid and on the lower part of the body. The baluster-shaped body is adorned with side handles in the form of cat (?) heads holding rings in their mouths. The animal heads and rings are embellished with precious stone inlays; the free facets of the body are decorated with applied gold floral "sprigs" set with gemstones. All four sides of the base are decorated with applied gold patterns and gemstone inlays. The silver mounts of the upper and lower body feature shaped lower edges and are adorned with a band of blue enamel fleurons. The partially pierced dome-shaped lid with a shaped finial is decorated with four shaped reserves containing carved ornamental patterns set against colored enamel backgrounds.
