Mark on the base: ‘Brocard // Paris’ (ornamental inscription in red-brown enamel)
The decanter is made of transparent glass, with wide rounded body, a narrowing neck with spout, cylindrical foot and a smoothly curved handle. The major part of the body surface is richly decorated with intricate patterns, including geometric and floral motifs (arabesques) made with coloured enamel and gilding.
