Gilded silver fob in the form of openwork cast case contains miniature musical movement. The case and the lower lid are ornamented with openwork embossed pattern comprised from acanthus leaves.
Suspension ring that serves for the movement winding is on the case top with four sloping surfaces. The miniature musical movement with spring engine is comprised of pinned cylinder and stack of steel tuned slats. It is attached to the case by screws in the corners. The mechanism has no switch and sounds as long as the spring unwinds. The later made box is in the set.
