Gold fob is in the form of oval case comprised of miniature musical movement and handle. The case side surface is adorned with a strip of chased ornament. The bottom of the case is closed by polished flat lid, attached with screws. Sliding switch of the movement is on the case lateral surface. The handle consisting of two identical embossed parts in the shape of profiled medallions connected in the top. Is attached to the smooth concave upper side. The ovals are supported by four protomes; their paws are fixed on the case. Polished bushing passes through the handle, surrounded by basket-shaped wire arcs. The clockwork rod of the movement is placed inside the bushing. Suspension in the form of three thin soldered rings is on the rod top end. The miniature spring-driven musical movement consists of pinned cylinder and stack of eight tuned slats.
