Singing bird box in rectangular silver case with rounded ribs and meshed surface, decorated by onlayed floral filigree polychrome champlevé enamel. An oval aperture, closed by a folding stamped lid with the image of two angels releasing a bird from the cage is in the center of the top panel. An ornament with a flower and a bird from the "Garden of Eden" of polychrome champlevé enamel in a curly silver frame is on the front and rear panels. An activating rod is on the right lateral side, a keyhole for a bird movement winding is on the bottom side. When the rod is extended, the oval cover opens; a miniature bird in painted feathers appears. It swirls in place, flaps its wings, opens and closes the beak; the sound movement imitates bird’s chirping. At the end of the programe, the bird hides in the deepening under the open work gilded lattice and the lid closes.
