Singing bird box in silver rectangular case on cast pedestal with four ornately shaped feet. The stand is decorated with relief pattern with pearls and transparent orange ornamental stones. A drawer for small items with mesh engraving, hallmarks on its bottom and leaf patterns on its sides is on the pedestal front side. Ornament with gold leaves over blue enamel background in double frame comprised of metal beads and engraved foliage patterns is on the top and lateral panels. Oval aperture framed with beads and covered with a hinged lid is in the center of the top panel. Its external surface is decorated with blue enamel and leaves. Its inner surface is smooth. The movement switching on/off lever in the form of a bird with widely spred wings is on the front panel top, to the right. When the movement is switched on, the oval lid opens; a miniature bird in the painted feathers of blue, red, green, and yellow colours appears. It turns, flaps its wings, opens and closes the beak. The sound mechanism imitates bird's chirping. At the end of the program, the bird hides in the groove in the openwork silver lattice and the lid closes. The aperture for the bird's movement winding, which is conceivable only if the drawer is extended and two screw heads in the form of flowers are on the bottom wooden panel. The winding key with disk-shaped grip and two square cross-section rods.
