Singing bird box in silver octagonal case with domed top and cobalt blue enamel sides. The engraved floral ornament between dome polished ribs is on the top panel. Oval aperture in the polished frame, covered with the hinged lid with relief patterns and mascaron is in the top panel center. The lid inner surface is polished. Floral ornament, the aperture for the bird movement winding and hallmarks are on the bottom panel. The movement activation rod is on the top panel to the right. When the movement is switched on, the oval lid opens; a miniature bird in the painted feathers of brown, red, green and yellow colours appears. It turns, flaps its wings, opens and closes the beak. The sound mechanism imitates bird's chirping. At the end of the program, the bird is hidden in the groove in the openwork-silvery lattice and the lid is closed. Bird-shaped winging key grip is with square cross-section rod.
