Silver box in the form of sarcophagus, all surfaces except lateral sides are made of mother-of-pearl with engraved floral ornaments. Onlays in the form of five-petal flower heads and two screw heads are on the hinged top lid with a latch. Three hallmarks are on the lid inner. An automaton with a frivolous scene, made of covered with polychrome enamelled metal is fixed on silver panel under the lid. A keyhole is under the lid as well. The automaton is activated when the spring is winded. The key grip and neck are curly, a rod with a square cross-section. London silver hallmarks prove the date of the box manufacturing - 1908.
