Music box is in silver gilded rectangular case with rounded side ribs and a hinged lid. A guilloche field framed with chased floral ornament over repousse surface is on the lid. The inner side of the lid and the case are mirror-polished, with a label, a barcode and numbers, the hallmarks are on the welt. The lateral surface is guilloched, with chased frames. Two buttons are on the front panel: for turning on/off the musical movement and switching the tunes, the palmetta motif ornamentation is on the ribs. An aperture for the spring winding and an auction tag are on the bottom guilloche panel that is edged with floral ornament. The music movement for two tunes consists of a spring motor, a program cylinder with teeth and a steel sound comb. The snuffbox is stored in the case made of dark red leather with locks. Key with a grip comprised of two rings, neck with number "12" and a cylindrical steel rod with a square cross-section aperture.
