The movement with balance wheel, spring-powered cylinder escapement, a quarter repeater on two gongs, with separate barrel drum for the music movement with disc and comb with steel teeth (reeds); the watch is winded with a key, which is also used to set the hands. There are two sliding levers on the case opposite the numbers "I" and "IV" for activating a tune.
