On the case rear side hallmark with the inscription: "S. Wehl St. Petersburg". On the clockwork external mounting plate “6126” and squeeze of the workshop’s name with the inscription: "Bouillon à St. Nicholas / Motion Honor'le (Mention Honorable)"
Round clock movement is mounted in rectangular gilded bronze patinated case with bevelled corners. Round metal dial is framed with volumetric gilded cast onlay plate in the form of acanthus leaves, curls and fruits. The case is fixed on smooth patinated socle with cast onlay feet in the shape of acanthus leaves and curls, fixed on the front bevelled corners. Gilded plinth with foliage ornament is on three sides between the case and socle. Volumetric elements comprised of rocailles rise up from the plinth to front corners. Narrow, twisted gilded border with ornately shaped curls on the corners is located beneath the upper edge of the case. Metal dial is framed with fluted bezel with ring-shaped leafy chains. Black minutes’ divisions and Roman numerals for hours’ designation are on the external bezel ring. Cast gilded embossed foliage composition is in the center, central black blued openwork hands are with trefoils. Round apertures with square pins for winding key are near four and eight o’clock marks. The clock with half an hour strike on a bell, pendulum on silk suspension with escapement adjustment and two spring motors. Cast gilded sculptural composition is mounted on the case upper side. The composition features a young woman sitting; her left hand rests on the tree stump. Folded fan is in her right hand. The woman is wearing long dress with wide collar, bows on the shoulders and lace cuffs, lace cap with rose is on her head, and a string with the cross is on her neck. Flower basket is on her right side.
Round window through which the clockwork can is visible is in the central part of the smooth polished rear side of the clock. Lentil-shaped hallmark with the inscription: "S. Wehl St. Petersburg” on the bottom part. The serial number “6126” and round brand mark with the inscription: "Douillon à St. Nicholas / M'tion Honor'le (Mention Honorable)" is on the clockwork external mounting plate. Winding key is in the set.
