On the dial: “LONDON & RYDER17, NEW BOND ST”. On the rear panel: “B”, on the bottom panel handwritten inscription: “17 ½ den hard”, “143”
The clock movement is fixed in wooden figured pedestal, with gilded relief ornament and a top panel. Mounted on wooden stand with rounded corners and a slot for the bell glass. Round glass transparent dial in polished bezel is fixed in the tube upper part and supported by two acanthus leaves with balls.
The
clock movement with attached lever escapement, an hour chime on bell and spring
motors. Apertures with pins for the clock and chime winding, the hands setting and
adjusting the clockwork are on the rear panel. Double end key with
a round grip and a glass hood is in the set.
