Rack bell striking movement with verge escapement and knife-edge suspended sunburst pendulum driving two horizontal enamel chapter rings across a fixed ormolu pointer, white marble top with a foliate final and trailing garlands, raised on shaped supports with scrolls and claw feet, a theatrical stage below flanked by columns and hung with garlands, back panels hung with trophies alternated by pilasters with a seated lady playing a lyre, breakfront plinth adorned with foliate pierced mounts containing the fusee and chain music organ movement, playing one of six tunes with a 15-cm barrel on fourteen metal pipes, on acanthus moulded plinth.
