A music roll is intended for use as a source of music information in the street organ of the company Orgelbau Raffin GmbH. Information is encoded on a paper roll in the form of twenty tracks of small apertures, each track controls its tone. The roll leader with the handwritten catalogue number is cut at an angle and equipped with a wire loop; a label with the manufacturer's company information is attached above. The roll is stored in a cardboard case decorated with coloured images and inscriptions in vignettes. The musical pieces' titles and the roll catalo number are written on the front and back sides of the lid. The view of the Uberlingen city is depicted on the lateral side.

Four music pieces are encoded on the roll: "Santa Lucia", "Wenn die Glocken hell erklingen", "Lebe wohl - du schwarze Rose", "Dolannes-Melodie".
