Organette in a bureau-shaped wooden case, veneered in mahogany, with a molded plinth and side panel edges, featuring gilt ornament on the panels, and raised on four turned feet. On the front, there is an acoustic aperture (sound hole) enclosed by a hinged drop-front cover with hasps and hinges, and a double lid enclosing the musical mechanism. On the right side is a crank handle with a dark brown wooden knob, and the cover features a gilt inscription reading "CELESTINA".
The music roll features an arrangement of the melody "La Complainte de la Butte" by French composer Georges van Parys (07.06.1902–28.01.1971).
