Gramophone with a turntable platter covered in dark green felt, an electric motor, a tonearm with a reproducer, and a stylus is mounted in a metal cylindrical stepped casing. The casing is decorated with mascaron overlays and installed on the molded cornice of a pyramidal column resting on a vase-shaped base. After placing a record on the turntable and turning on the mechanism, the stylus moves along the record's sound groove, transmitting mechanical vibrations to the diaphragm, which converts them into sound amplified by the horn.
