The figure of a girl holding a stick in her right hand is mounted on metal rod, raised on a square base with molded plinth covered with terracotta-colored velvet. The girl wears a red dress with puffed sleeves made of textured silk. The lace cuffs are gathered with white satin ribbon. Her waist is encircled by light satin ribbon decorated with floral motifs and tied in a double bow on the back.

The mechanisms are activated once the spring is wound: the girl's right hand strikes the hoop with the stick, causing it to spin, while her head turns from side to side. She moves her feet as if running after the hoop. Winding key is in the set.
