Automaton in the form of a girl is mounted on wooden rectangular base with round turned legs, covered with red velvet. When the mechanism is activated, music plays; the girl nods her head, waves a pointer, and raises her right hand to open the cage flap. A mouse runs out of the cage, turns, and runs back, and the flap closes. After each stroke of the pointer, the actions are repeated. Winding key is in the set.
