The nape is stamped with an oval vignette bearing the letters ‘FG’ inside and ‘1’ below
The mechanism of the automaton is mounted in rectangular wooden base with bevelled vertical edges, pasted with brown velvet. The movements of the automaton are accompanied by the sounds of musical mechanism with pinned cylinder and sound comb. The mechanism is winded up by turning the built-in key that is fixed on the stand rear side.
