Rectangular wooden box with a hinged lid and a lock. The case is made from walnut wood. Front and top surfaces are framed with birch and rosewood veneer inserts. The  lid is veneered with walnut root. Lid external surface is decorated with floral and foliage rose wood compositions in marquetry technique. Paper label with the tunes' list is on the lid inner side. Musical movement consists of a cylinder and a sound comb for 77 tunes. The hinged left lateral side gives access to three switches: start, stop and tunes' reset, a keyhole is there as well. Cylinder is for four tunes.
