Rectangular wooden box with a lock and two hinged lids: upper and inner. The inner one is with glass. The case is painted imitating wenge wood. Front side is decorated with two rectangular parallel birch veneer frames. The lid external  surface is veneered with rosewood and decorated with two parallel light frames. The ornamental rosaces ornated with acanthus leaves in marquetry technique and with the ringlets at the corners are in the center. The lid inner side is painted black, with golden frame. Paper label with the tunes list is in the center. Musical movement consists of a cylinder and a sound comb for 77 tunes. The movement is activated by a crank which is inside the box on the left side. Two metal switches for starting and stopping the tunes are on the right side. The cylinder is for six tunes. Music media: pinned metal cylinder.
