    Website description

The raised hand and upturned face give the figure a ceremonial, classical or allegorical character, while the other hand holds an oval dish. Pale head, hands and upper body contrast with long dark drapery decorated in relief. The asymmetric hem reveals the feet and adds movement. A tall black architectural base completes this early salon-like image.
