Equestrian statuette "Ivan the Terrible" is bronze reproduction of one of the figures of the multi-figured composition "The Tsar's Hunt" based on the model of V. Grachev in the 1870's. The sculptural composition reproduces the scene from "Prince Serebrenni", the famous historical novel by A.K. Tolstoy. It depicts the moment when the Tsar's falconers report Ivan the Terrible, accompanied by Malyuta Skuratov, that the Tsar's favourite falcon flew off.
