On the pedestal (map) inscription in Cyrillic
Peter I is portrayed sitting in the casual posture; it appears that he is concentrated on the urge of the Russian Empire to secure access to the sea and build a new capital of the state. The Emperor is pointing to a map lying at his feet, the map is featuring the words "Here will be St. Petersburg" in Cyrillic.
It was created to mark the bicentenary of the great reformer birth.
