    A two-figure composition within an interior is depicted on a rectangular, vertically oriented sheet. In a dimly lit room, a girl kneeling on a bed and the Demon, in the form of a winged young man, are locked in a kiss. In the background, an arched window opening is visible on the right, and an icon of the Mother of God with a burning icon lamp before it is shown on the left. The image itself is rectangular with a semi-circular top edge.An inscription is engraved along the upper edge: “London Published December 1st 1869 by ‘Henry Graves & Co’ – Publishers to Her Majesty the Queen and I.R.H. the Prince & Princesse of Wales”
