The rectangular, vertically oriented sheet features a preliminary design for an ovoid-shaped vase, decorated at the top with five red carnations. Centrally located below is an inscription in French: Oeillet d'Orient (translated as "Oriental Carnation"). Below it is a band composed of a row of green stems. At the bottom, within a semi-circle, there are two rows of strokes and an inscription (letters?) “ERO(S?)NI”. The sheet is mounted on a passe-partout.
