The rectangular, vertically oriented sheet features a preliminary design for an ovoid-shaped vase, decorated at the top with five red carnations. Centrally located below is the inscription in French: "Oeillet d'Orient" (Oriental Carnation). Below it is a band composed of the row of green stems. At the bottom, within a semi-circle, there are two rows of strokes and inscription (letters?) “ERO(S?)NI”. The sheet is mounted on a passe-partout.
