The birds are carved from transparent rock crystal, with amethyst tails, ruby-cabochon-rimmed eyes, coral beaks, with gilded silver legs. The branch is from gilded silver. Double jade base is adorned with two gilded silver rims and rubies-cabochons. The item was produced for the Vacheron Constantin house.
