Carved from fine quality translucent Brazilian brown-and-white banded agate, the bowl follows the natural contours of the original agate boulder, with undulating lip, and distinct brown and white patterning, raised on a small foot. Such large agate bowls are now rare to find and the craft of carving them has been nearly lost.
