Hummingbird is carved from Russian eudialyte (Khibiny massif, Kola peninsula) which is characterized by its strong purplish red colour. The bird has golden beak and feet. The beak is buried in a carved rhodochrosite flower with carved of Peruvian chrysocolla leaves. The composition is fixed on milky quartz basement mounted on a black onyx pedestal.
